Those So-Called "Respectable" Sins

1. Talebearing - Prov. 11:13 A talebearer revealeth secrets: but he that is of a faithful spirit concealeth the matter.
2. Mental adultery - Matt. 5:28 But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.
3. Faultfinding - Luke 6:41 And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but perceivest not the beam that is in thine own eye?
4. Form of godliness - 2 Tim. 3:5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
5. Unforgiving spirit - Matt. 6:15 But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
6. Neglecting salvation - Heb. 2:3 How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him;
7. Desecrating the Lord's Day - Ex. 20:8 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.
