Jesus Christ, The Only Way
John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
This is surely one of the best-known, best-loved, most important, clearest, yet most profound verse in the Bible. There is no other way to come to God except through Jesus Christ; no other truth than that which is founded and centered on Jesus Christ; no other eternal life except the life of Jesus Christ imparted to the believer, through faith in Jesus Christ.
There is no other way, the Lord Jesus Christ is the all-sufficient way, and the perfect way to God. It is not that He shows the way, He is the way!!! And all who want to come, can come to God through Him!!!
All who teach otherwise are "thieves and robbers" of the soul, for Jesus Christ said; "I am the door." John 10:8-11 All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them. I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep. There is no other door to Heaven, and no other Shepherd of the sheep.
Here are some other statements made by Jesus Christ found in God's Word, the Bible;
Jesus Christ is the only "light of the world," to illuminate a world otherwise blackened by sin. John 8:12 Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life. 2 Cor. 4:6 For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
Jesus Christ is "that bread of life," and there is no other such life-sustaining eternal food for the hungry soul. John 6:48, 51 I am that bread of life. I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.
Jesus Christ is the "living water," and no other water here on earth can satisfy the thirst of men. John 7:37-38 In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.
Therefore the Scriptures have made it very plain about the name and person of Jesus Christ;
Acts 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
Rom. 14:10-12 But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ. For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God. So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.
Php. 2:9-11 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
What about you, friend??? Do you know the Lord Jesus Christ as your personal Saviour, or is His name just a curse word which shows the true, sinful condition of your heart???
Haven't you ever wondered why the sinful world only uses the name of Jesus Christ in cursing??? They don't associate cursing with the other so called "little g" gods of this world; i.e. Mohammed, Buddha, Confucius, Joseph Smith, etc. Why is it just Jesus Christ??? The attack of the sinful world is always against the name and person of Jesus Christ!!! Is there an explanation?????

Amen!! This does away with those who teach that they can get to God through a priest or through Mary. This verse simply sums everything up doesn't it?
