God's Love and Provision

(Yesterday I posted verses from God's Word, the Bible, about the reality of death and the judgment of God; today here are some wonderful verses detailing God's love and provision. I trust that you will read each verse with an open heart and allow the Holy Spirit of God to work in your life.)

John 3:16-17 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

Luke 19:10 For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.

Rom. 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

John 15:13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

1 Cor. 15:3-4 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

1 John 2:2 And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.

1 Tim. 2:4-6 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.

Heb 2:9 But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.

Isa. 53:5-6 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.

Yes, Sister Julie, it surely does!!! It's too bad that many of us Christian's don't read it and hide it our heart for our daily strength, and even worse that the reason we don't is because we don't want to obey what it says!!!

And of course, sinners truly don't want to read God's Word, because it reveals their sinful life... and a just God who will judge their lives one day in eternity!!! Too bad they don't read about His love and provision as shown by today's post....
